Dear families,

I am delighted to warmly welcome you to Tidbury Green School.  

Our ethos is that together we are stronger at Tidbury Green School. We show this in all that we do through kindness, courtesy and respect for each other as we learn and play together and in our strong relationships with your child and family. We teach and model the value of ‘Never Giving Up’, a motto that we proudly share on our school logo. These values teach us to learn from our mistakes, be honest, improve our self-confidence and become ever-increasingly independent learners.   

Tidbury Green School offers a caring, stimulating and ambitious education for all of our children. We are an inclusive, two-form entry school offering both an exceptional education and stunning facilities. We are complimented with an on-site and school-led pre-school which enables us to provide education and childcare places for children from 2 years of age up to 11 years old. 

We know how exciting and important starting your child’s learning journey is. You can expect everyone at Tidbury Green School and Nursery to prioritise your child’s happiness and safety so that your child can achieve their full potential and be ready for their next stage of learning.

• March 2023: Little Wandle Champion School - we showcase best practice to schools nationwide for the Little Wandle Early Reading Programme
• March 2023: Early Years recognition by Ofsted as Outstanding
• June 2026: Our 2nd consecutive Eco School award, with Distinction
• July 2024: Reading for Pleasure Gold Award, presented by the Open University
• July 2025: Our 4rd consecutive School Games Mark Gold Award
• May 2025: Smart Money Award 2025
• June 2025: Smartphone Free Schools Rating: Gold
• Sept 2026: Our 2nd consecutive Voice 21 Oracy School status
• Sept 2026: Working together with our local English Hub, to be a location and training provider to showcase best practice for training in Early Language and Literacy 
• June 2026: Solihull IRL (In Real Life) partnership school
