Admissions Process:
Our two main intake years are Nursery and Reception. You can also apply for a place at our Pre-School. If you would like to do this, please use the link below:
Nursery Admissions
Children aged 3 by August 31st are eligible for admissions to our Foundation Stage Nursery in the September of the following Autumn Term.
All Applications for our Nursery setting should be made directly to our school.

Nursery applications open: Friday 1st September 2023
Nursery applications close: Sunday 19th November 2023
Nursery admissions offer date: Monday 27th November 2023

Oversubscription Criteria for Nursery Pupils
If there are more applications than places available, places will be offered in this order:
Priority 1
Looked after children or children who were looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order).
Priority 2
Children who attend our Pre-school ‘Little Wrens’ provision.
Priority 3
Children who will have an older brother or sister attending the school at the same time.
Priority 4
Children living in the catchment area of the school (catchment areas can be seen on the council’s online maps link).
Priority 5
Children living outside the catchment area based on their distance from home to school measured using the council’s online maps.
Reception and remainder of school
Children aged 4 years by 31st August are eligible for admission to our Foundation Stage Reception in September of the following Autumn term.
However parents may wish to request admissions for mid-year or mid-school places.
Oversubscription Criteria:
If there are more applications than places available, places will be offered in this order:
Priority 1
Looked after children in the care of a local authority (e.g. foster care) or children whose exceptional social or medical reasons can only be met by that particular school.
Priority 2
Children who normally live in the catchment area of the school.
Priority 3
Children who have an older brother or sister at the school at the same time.
Priority 4
Children living outside the catchment area measured in a straight line from the child’s home to school.
