Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
At Tidbury Green Primary School, we are proud to have an active and dedicated Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Our PTA plays an important role in strengthening the partnership between families and the school, helping to create a vibrant and supportive community where children can thrive.

What Does the PTA Do?
The PTA works throughout the year to:
-
Raise funds that directly benefit the children and enhance their school experience.
-
Organise fun events for families, such as school discos, fairs, film nights and seasonal celebrations.
-
Support school projects, providing resources and opportunities that go beyond the school’s core budget.
-
Bring families, staff and pupils together, building a welcoming and inclusive school community.
The money raised by the PTA helps to fund items such as playground equipment, books, learning resources, workshops and enrichment activities.
Who Can Join?
Any parent or carer can join the PTA! Some people choose to join the committee or volunteer at events, while others support by attending activities or contributing in other ways — all involvement is valued.
There are many ways to get involved, whether you have lots of time to spare or just a little:
-
Helping at an event
-
Sharing a skill
-
Donating items
-
Joining the organising committee
-
Supporting fundraising initiatives
Why Get Involved?
Being part of the PTA is a great way to:
-
Meet other families
-
Make a positive difference to school life
-
Support new opportunities for children
-
Help shape events and activities at Tidbury Green
Even the smallest contribution has a big impact.
