A Warm Welcome to Tidbury Green School

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am very pleased to welcome you and your child to Tidbury Green School.

Starting school or changing schools is one of the most important and exciting times in a child’s life. At Tidbury Green School all staff will do their best to help new children to settle in, to feel safe, secure and to ultimately be successful. All staff work hard to engage pupils in their learning by providing a range of activities and to have the confidence to learn from their mistakes.

Our school is a calm and friendly place where you will always be made to feel welcome. We expect all children to work hard so that they can make the most of the opportunities we provide for them. All staff will help children to show respect and consideration to themselves and others. They will help to develop children’s self-esteem, self-confidence and self-discipline by following our school mission statement ‘Together Stronger’, our motto of ‘Never Giving Up’ and our Behaviour principles where ‘Kindness and Courtesy Counts’.

Support from home is vital in achieving these aims and we will work in partnership with parents and carers, to nurture a positive working relationship between home and school. The support and encouragement you give your child and the school is important if they are to learn effectively.

This website is intended to give some basic information about our school, but if there is any other information you need, please contact us 01564 823189.
